Love in 2009: (Ms. Independent)

Love in 2009: (Ms. Independent)

I often talk to my home girls about how many times a day that I hear I do not need or want a man for anything. So, I ask my self all the time, have we as women become too independent? I am a 32 year old woman with no kids, and I not only need a man but I want one (the right one). I also was one of those women that had that attitude. I came to realize that I had the wrong attitude. We tend to choose or attract the wrong type of me, and put most if not all the blame on them when the relationship does not work. We as women do not realize how much we fuck up our own relationships from the start.
When we say that we do not need a man for anything, (that’s just not true).
I think that we just have to do better on the men we allow into our lives. Realize that every man we meet is not the one. Realize that we have the right to say no, and not be with a man because we do not want to be alone. Realize that there are a lot of good men out their, but how are we putting our selves out their.
Realize we may be in love and he is in lust. He’s your man and to him you are his main girl. Stop waiting on the men to get his shit together. We have to learn to walk away.
For me being independent means: That I know and love my self enough to know I am one of a kind. That I do need a man, but a man that is right for me, and Not Mr. Right Now. Know that if something does not fell right, walk away.
Not to put so much into or on a man that you do not have. If you do not have good credit, nice car, home, or job. How can attract a man that has all of that.
Ladies work on your self. Put your self in a place that you can get what you want. Do not have that Ms. Independent attitude, because at the end of a long day wouldn’t it be nice to have someone to come home to.
